Wine tasting and cricket and auctions – oh my! Dedicated Swartland fans will recognise these dates as the annual Revolution weekend days – aka “what happens in Riebeek stays in Riebeek” 48 hours of mayhem. So now it’s all going down on the Friday 11th and 12th November in Johannesburg and Pretoria – we are bringing the wines and winemakers to you! Check back in for information of who will be there and pouring what… some special unreleased wines will be revealed.
The Joburg Skou is only 4 months away! The SIP Committee have been hard at work planning the jol for everyone, but we also find it extremely important to give back to those who are less fortunate. We are teaming up (pun intended) with The Oaks Cricket Club, a group of young, rural children from the Limpopo who with the little that they have, come together to play cricket as a community. Check out this video on their story – proceeds from the Skou ticket sales will go towards helping them buy cricket equipment and to upgrade their facilities
